A dance portfolio can be any combination of headshots, movement shots (dance or jump) and modelling style photos.
— Are the images really all included?
Yes! Almost every other studio and photographer charges you per photo in addition to the shoot, meaning that end up spending hundreds of pounds more than you thought. All of my prices include all the photos we take, so there's nothing extra to pay on the day.
— What about a make-up artist?
I do have a separate Makeover section, but I'm gradually discontinuing it because if it's important that the photos feel like 'you', then it's much better to keep it natural and do your own make-up. This is also why my prices aren't several hundred pounds more.
— What happens on the day?
When you arrive, we'll have a quick chat about what photo styles and ideas would best suit you and your needs. We'll do some warm-up shots to get you comfortable in front of the camera, and then proceed with the shoot.
— Can we shoot outdoors?
With any of the packages, as long as there is daylight and it's not raining, we can do some or all of the photos outdoors in the area outside my studio. It's right next to the River Thames. This is great for photos with a very natural feel.
— My friend and I both want to do a shoot...
If there are two of you, I do a combined package that works out much cheaper for you than two separate shoots. It's a hour longer than my Standard package and is the equivalent of doing the Standard package each because I can be photographing one of you while the other is changing - it's more efficient to alternative outfits. So that shared package is £320 total (just £160 each), and that includes all the photos plus you can each pick 5 for professional editing. We can also do some photos together if you like.
— I have another question...
Please see my information page here which has my studio address and answers to all the questions people usually ask! And feel free to contact me any time; I'm very happy to help answer any questions you have.
